- Demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and services, and be able to answer customer inquiries with confidence.
- Assist customers with product selection, and provide product opinions to showcase features and benefits.
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and ensuring the store is tidy and well-presented.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge,and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
- Provide support to customers via phone, and in-store.
- Develop and maintain a rapport with customers to build loyalty and drive repeat business.
- Work effectively in a team environment, and assist with supervising and mentoring junior sales associates.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in basic retail math and inventory management.
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to learn quickly about new products.
- Experience in retail sales or customer service is an asset.
- Bilingual is an asset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Phone etiquette and the ability to handle customer inquiries via phone.
- Experience with POS systems is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.
- A passion for retail sales and customer service is essential.
