HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position of Human Resources Director. To plan, direct, manage, oversee and coordinate the city's personnel activities and operations including recruitment, classification, compensation, benefits, labor relations and employee relations; to coordinate payroll and other assigned activities with other departments, divisions and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager. Five years of increasing responsible human resources management experience including two years of administrative and/or supervisory responsibility. Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources management, public administration or a related field. Principles and practices of municipal budget preparation and administration. Knowledge of principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation. Methods and techniques of collective bargaining. Pertinent Federal, State and local laws, codes and regulations.
