The City of Aiken is seeking a Court Technician to join our City Manager's Office in the Municipal Court Division.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Operates a computer and software to enter various Municipal Court items including tickets, bond paperwork, printing of NRVC notices, etc.Performs receptionist duties; greets public entering building and offers assistance; answers telephone and takes messages, forwards to appropriate party, or responds to questions, concerns, or complaints from knowledge of departmental proceduresReceives and receipts ticket and warrant payments; balances, accounts for, and completes deposit receipt for moniesPrepares and organizes case materials for City CourtMaintains and updates files, reports, and other departmental papers; indexes and files documents and correspondence alphabetically, numerically, or by other designated classificationDevelops and maintains cooperative relationships with other City departments and the general public contacted in the course of work; assists in resolving problems or complaintsProcesses outgoing mailFills in for other employees as needed
