The City of Altoona is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Clerical Associate I to provide clerical support to the City’s Finance Department. The successful candidate will perform routine and complex administrative tasks including data entry, filing, answering phone calls, and managing multiple tasks and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and discretion in the handling of confidential information.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalency and at least two years of successful experience providing administrative support in a dynamic office environment; as well as proficiency in the use of office equipment, Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications.
