Job Announcement:
Under general supervision, the purpose of this position is to coordinate, supervise and administer all areas of customer experience. Provides customer service, hires, trains, and supervises staff and volunteers in front desk and child watch and will maintain all social media platforms. This position may include service or duties different from those performed in the usual course and scope of the job during emergency situations for the benefit of the public. The coordinator is under the direct supervision of the Recreation Superintendent. The Customer Experience coordinator directly supervises part-time staff, volunteers, and manages Alvin Parks and Recreation social media platforms. This includes seasonal and part-time front desk staff and child watch staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma/GED plus 2 years of increasingly responsible recreation and community services experience including 1 year of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
• Current Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Social Media Marketing experience preferred.
• Experience in childcare or with child watch principals preferred.
• Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) desirable.
Salary:
Starting Salary: $17.98 an hour
