Job Description
Starting Pay : $15.00 per hour
SUMMARY
Under supervision and in accordance with procedures, this position conducts background investigations on police / civilian applicants seeking employment with the City of Amarillo to determine the applicant's eligibility and / or suitability for hire.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK :
Under the supervision and guidance of sworn T&P personnel :
- Review applicant's Personal History Statement and other related documentation
- Interview applicant and all other persons in applicant's background
- Request background information from outside agencies
- Document all findings in a professionally written report
- Other duties as assigned
