Skating Instructor I or II (Casual/Variable Hour)

Perform a variety of duties related to demonstrating and teaching others to skate safely and effectively. Instruct students in our learn-to-skate and skating programs.

• Work under the direction of the Arena Manager and the Director of Skating.
• Teach learn-to-skate and skating classes as required.
• Ability to be creative/innovative with instruction.
• Assist in any office duties assigned
• Assist Skating Director in preparing analysis sheet following each session.
• Answer questions concerning skating programs as needed.
• Assist Skating Director in placing students in proper skill groups.
• Test student on completion of each session.

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Must have skating experience.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Offer of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal and driving history check.

This position will work Monday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Starting rate of pay will depend on qualifications and experience.
