As a Data Manager, you ensure the quality, accessibility, and security of the organization’s data assets. This role plays a critical part in empowering data-driven decision making and supporting the organization’s strategic goals. You will work closely with a variety of departments, contributing to the data solutions that power our City’s operations.

• Supervise a team and guide cross-functional projects, fostering a data-driven culture throughout the city. 

• Develop and implement robust data quality frameworks, ensuring our data is accurate, reliable, and ready for action.

• Manage and maintain our data infrastructure, keeping it secure, efficient, and up-to-date. 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and create innovative solutions.

• Oversee data security and compliance, keeping our information safe and secure. 

• Turn data into compelling reports and visualizations that inform key decisions.

• Provide training and support, helping everyone use data effectively.

About you:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field required; supplemented by five years of experience in managing technology development and implementation projects, to include lead or supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: 

Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with occasional evening or weekend work as needed. This position is a hybrid position and does require the ability to be in the office 3 days a week or more if needed.

Salary : $83,284 - $91,612
