General Summary
The Office of Watershed Protection requires a Project Coordinator with knowledge of stormwater management to support the Division of Environmental Planning with the planning and execution of green infrastructure projects. This is an entry- to junior-level position charged with the responsibility of working with project teams to coordinate green infrastructure and stream restoration projects, support community outreach efforts related to specific projects and initiatives and provide technical assistance in the areas of environmental science, engineering, natural resource management, urban design, landscape architecture, and / or other applicable fields.
Supervision Received
The Project Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Watershed Manager I and obtain additional oversight from the Watershed Director and Environmental Program Coordinators within the Office of Watershed Protection, Division of Environmental Planning.

Planning and Project Coordination :
- Assist Project Managers and technical leads with project coordination related to green infrastructure and stream restoration projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, other DWM Offices and City of Atlanta Departments, and external organizations to plan and implement projects.
- Assist leadership in identifying opportunities for integrating and coordinating watershed improvement or property management activities across Offices and Divisions.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

Essential Capabilities and Work Environment
