Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Server Engineer with specialized expertise in maintaining Microsoft Exchange environment and Proofpoint solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in server management, cybersecurity, and email protection systems. This role will involve managing and optimizing our server infrastructure while leveraging Proofpoint technologies to enhance our email security posture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Server Management :
Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
Administer and manage Proofpoint solutions, including Email Protection, Targeted Attack Protection, and other related modules.
Implement and manage email security policies and protocols to protect against phishing, malware, and other email-borne threats.
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure robust security measures and compliance with industry standards.
Provide advanced technical support for server and Proofpoint-related issues.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of server and Proofpoint configurations, procedures, and processes.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in server engineering or a similar role.
Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
Relevant certifications such as Proofpoint Certified Security Professional, MCSE, CISSP, M365, Azure Solutions Architect or similar are highly desirable.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and mentor junior team members.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis). 5 years of specific network experience.
Preferred Education & Experience :
Master's degree in computer science or engineering (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the master's degree on an exception basis) with 5-8 years of directly related professional work.
