Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with major course work in Business or Public Administration or related field, plus four (4) years experience in a professional / administrative capacity.
- Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.

The Administrative Specialist Daily responsibilities will include :
1. Receiving, scanning, uploading, and entering assault victim statements ( AVS ) on a records management spreadsheet, as well as filing them.
2. First point of contact for the Domestic Violence phone line. Therefore, notifies personnel by phone or pager of any urgent / important phone calls or requests for information.
3. Maintains unit email and provide information requested; route / handle messages as appropriate. Attach documents and create supplement in associated case when needed.
4. Prioritizes and organizes personal workload to facilitate efficiency in the unit.
5. Forwards case files to Central Records for Expunction or Redaction.
6. Provides assistance to internal and external customers by explaining the unit and departmental policies and procedures.
7. Displays knowledge of the Domestic Violence protocols when answering telephone calls, in order to avoid escalating questions and concerns to the next level.
8. Responsible for processing pseudonyms as needed in a timely manner.
9. Payroll Liaison for the unit.
10. Other admin duties as assigned.
