SALARY: $15.00 - $30.00 Hourly
BACKGROUND CHECK
Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be required to complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check and/or Fingerprint must be successfully completed.
PROBATION
All persons, including current City employees, selected for this position must complete a mandatory 6-month probation.
Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks’ Aquatics Division is seeking dependable and qualified individuals to fill these seasonal/temporary non-civil service Community Aide - Aquatics positions.
IMPORTANT: Applicants must show the minimum requirements for each position listed on their application, as well as, attach the required certifications applicable to this position to be eligible. Individuals selected for this position will be required to pass a physical exam, a drug & alcohol screening and a criminal background check prior to being appointed.
Position Description
The selected candidates will monitor activities of patrons at municipal swimming pools and provide assistance and/or support to the Swimming Pool Manager or Operator at entrance, locker room, deck, etc.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
REQUIREMENTS – Minimum Age Preferred 21.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS – CPR & First Aid and AED certification issued by the American Red Cross or an equivalent certification.
