What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ramp Attendant (full-time) position at City of Bangor?
The City of Bangor, Airport Department is currently seeking responsible and dependable individuals for the position of full-time Ramp Attendant for its Ramp Services Division. The primary responsibility will be for servicing general aviation and commercial aircraft and assisting their crews and passengers. Secondary duties will include servicing a variety of aviation aircraft. Directs and parks general aviation and commercial aircraft by means of hand signals. Refuels and de-ices aircraft. The individual must be able to perform duties according to general and specialized instructions provided by the Ramp Supervisors. Moderate to heavy physical exertion is required. The salary range is $20.18 - $27.11 per hour. Shift: Thursday- Sunday 10:00pm to 8:30am. A valid State of Maine driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
This position requires the candidate to pass a fingerprint based criminal history check. Bangor International Airport complies with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) drug and alcohol testing policy.
