Essential Job Functions : Performs any or all of the following tasks : checks out books; maintains appropriate record of borrower and date book is to be returned. Responsible for records indicating return of the above items including re-shelving and minor repairs; answers phones; provides information and assistance to the public on library hours, policy, correct use of card catalog, copy machine, locations of books; alphabetizes card catalog and patron's file; collects monies for fines, lost books, and reserves; types library card applications and overdue notices; prepares statistical reports and provides other clerical and library functions as requested.Other Job Functions : Performs other duties as required.
