Essential Job Functions: Responsible for specialized and confidential secretarial duties under the direction of the City Attorney. Composes correspondence and a variety of legal documents including Open Records Request and Attorney General letters. Maintains a calendar of case events and the City Attorney’s calendar; answers telephone and routes calls; drafts routine ordinances and resolutions; responsible for requisitioning and purchasing of equipment, supplies and supply inventory; processes department invoices; makes travel and lodging arrangements for the department. Responsible for timely submission of monthly departmental report.Other Job Functions: Performs other duties as required. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Work indoors in a normal office environment. Fast-paced office environment; must be available to work up to 40 hours a week; Monday through Friday; overtime as needed.

Other: Skills test administered. Must possess a valid Class C driver's license with a good driving record. Other state valid Driver’s License equivalent to Texas Class C with a good driving record will be considered. Texas state law requires within 30 days of residency, you must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
