Essential Job Functions: The Library Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of programs and events for the community. Develop and coordinate a wide range of library programs and events for all age groups, including children, teens, adults and seniors. Collaborate with library staff to identify community needs and interests, and design programs that address these needs. Promote library programs through various channels, including social media, library websites, social media, newsletters, and community outreach. Manage program budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with program delivery. Evaluate program effectiveness through participant feedback and attendance data and make recommendations for improvements. Maintain records of program activities, attendance, and outcomes. Foster partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to enhance program offerings and community engagement. Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts to support program initiatives. Stay current with trends and best practices in library programming and community engagement.
