Generally, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., or 10-hour shifts, 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Shifts may vary as needed and may include evenings and weekends. Up to 40 hours per week, typically April or May-August or September, not to exceed 90 worked days. |

Summary of Position:
Performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance work and operates a variety of hand tools and equipment in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of city parks. This is a short-term position and may not exceed 90 worked days.
Job Description/ Essential Duties:
These job functions are the essential duties of the position and are not all-inclusive of all the duties the incumbent may be assigned.
- Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance work using hand tools and equipment as needed for City facilities and parks.
- Duties include mowing, weedeating, and maintaining parks and athletic fields, grounds, and sprinkler systems, cleaning public restrooms, collecting and disposing of trash, painting and minor carpentry and landscaping (trees, flowers).
