What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Officials - Volleyball position at City of Bellingham?
Bellingham Parks & Recreation is accepting applications for the position of Adult Volleyball Official for the 2025 - 2026 league season (April - December).
Adult Volleyball Officials officiate and score keep for adult volleyball games and provide customer service. Games are on weekday evenings 6:00 - 10:00pm. Employees can work up to 16 hours per week. Volleyball Officials are paid $22.00 per match.
Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including but not limited to:
- correctable visual acuity to read stop watch or scoreboard;
- fine finger dexterity to manipulate stop watch, score cards and complete handwritten forms;
- ability to stand for long periods of time
- ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
This position is open until filled. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. The position may be closed at any time.
