Group Interviews: Week of April 21st
New Hire Orientation: May 15th @ 4:00 P.M.
Mandatory Staff Training: May 30th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM & May 31st 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
First Day of Summer: June 9th
Under the direction of the Recreation Specialist, Recreation Leaders will be responsible for the supervision of children (6 – 12 years of age) in the Benicia Parks & Community Services Department. Job duties include planning and scheduling daily activities such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, low-key sports activities, and special events.
The Adventures Day Camp program runs Monday through Friday. Program hours are from 7 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. in the summer with all staff training conducted every other Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Recreation Leader position is a mandated reporter position.
