What You'll Do:- Perform maintenance and repairs on water and sewer lines.
- Flush hydrants, replace water meters and ensure everything is working properly.
- Mark utility lines for construction projects and respond to service requests.
- Collect water samples and report any issues to our water treatment team.
- Be part of our snow removal crew and collaborate with the Streets Department on large-scale projects.
- Provide support to other city departments as needed.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in utility repair, construction, or general maintenance.
- A commitment to getting your Grade 4 Nebraska Water Operator's License within your first year.
- A team-player attitude and a willingness to work in various weather conditions.
