JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
This position is through the Bluefield Fire Department, and the hired employee will perform the part-time seasonal work related to watering flowers and plants around the City of Bluefield.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Fill the water tank in the pickup truck with water and fertilizer.
- Water flowers around the City of Bluefield as designated by the Beautification Commission on as needed basis which may vary based on weather conditions.
- Report directly to the Fire Chief.
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned as needed
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Successful candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Work Environment
Most work will be performed around the City at various locations outside.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Licenses
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record

Compensation
$11.00 per hour
