Job Description
Performs professional and technical work interpreting various forms of data. Supports programming of new and existing systems and participates full life cycle data management by collecting, interpreting and analyzing data. This position reports to the Assistant IT Director.
Essential Functions
- Collects data from various sources.
- Analyzes large data sets using analytical and critical thinking skills to provide meaningful insights.
- Streamlines data collection methods to create automated routines.
- Designs database structures and data systems.
- Maintains data structures and monitors performance.
- Interprets data for trends and patters as they relate to operational process.
- Build and prepare reports using different reporting technologies.
- Leverage predictive modeling and data mining
- Collaborate with DBA, Programmers, Business Analysts, and Users to link data and create metrics cross operational areas.

- Technical Platforms – Visual Studio, C#, SQL, Python, SQL Reporting Services, Power BI, Tableau

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in Data Analysis
Additional experience is accepted as a minimum requirement in lieu of the postsecondary degree on the following basis: additional four (4) years in lieu of the bachelor’s degree, and additional two (2) years in lieu of an associate degree.
