Ready to help Boise tackle climate change? As a Public Works Climate Action Intern, you’ll dive into exciting projects that bring the Boise Climate Action Roadmap to life. From designing and implementing programs to evaluating their impact, you’ll play a hands-on role in driving meaningful change for our community and the planet.

Requirements

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience or interest in environmental or climate studies
• Interest and knowledge in project management, community partnerships and engagement
• Familiar with environmental regulations, greenhouse gas emissions, and nature-based solutions
• Ability to stay organized and work independently
• Undergraduate or graduate students with a strong academic record or graduated in the last 12 months from an accredited university
• Majoring in environmental studies/science, geosciences, environmental management, or related fields
• Be able to work up to 20 hours per week.
• Be able to commit to the entire internship program.
