This position supervises athletic programs at City facilities.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises participants / facility during games / tournaments.
- Assists and supports the Recreation Coordinator in day-to-day operations by reporting results, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Maintains a safe and secure environment for all participants.
- Uses appropriate disciplinary techniques with participants and logs all incidents.
- Accurately collects / files team rosters and other administrative forms.
- Effectively interacts and communicates with officials, participants, and other employees.
- Accounts for and maintains all supplies and equipment.
- Remains composed in emergency situations and makes sound judgment decisions during emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Serves as a resource to participants, maintains a professional manner while on duty, and mediates disputes calmly and professionally.
- Opens and closes facility, maintains safety conditions, and enforces all City of Boulder rules, regulations, and policies.
- Reports directly to Recreation Coordinator.
