Hiring salary - $16.00 hourly
DEFINITION
Responsibly perform the daily operations of the concession stand, including, but not limited to: customer service, food preparation, cash handling, and product and inventory control and facility maintenance. Oversee food and beverage for birthday parties and group events, and assist with the marketing and promotion of these events. Must be available to work evenings, holidays and weekends as required approximately May 10th through September 10th. This position must work well independently and in group setting, with peers and with the public, while providing excellent, respectful customer service and human relations skills, which support the City of Brighton's mission and values.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives direction from the Assistant Concession Manager and/or Concession Manager. The Concessions Staff member does not supervise others.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
- Advanced computer applications, with experience using POS or RecTrac system (RecTrac preferred).
- Use various kitchen and restaurant equipment and supplies.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and promote positive customer service practices at all times.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Some high school education. Must have prior cash handling and customer service experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
