Please Note:
- Applicants must have attended the Summer Job Launch on February 22, 2025
- Applicants must reside within the City limits of Brighton or attend a School District 27J School

- As part of the Growing Grads Summer Internship Program, the following dates are required for interns to attend: June 9, June 10, June 17 and July 22.
Definition:
This position will assist the Brighton Youth Services in our everyday tasks, including (but not limited to) assisting with the Brighton Youth Commission, the Growing Grads Entrepreneur Program, and the Image Summit.
Example of Duties
Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist with planning and facilitation of Youth Services programming
- Assist with planning, setting up and tearing down of events
- Assist with communication and information sharing including emails, social media and phone calls
- Attend and participate in department meetings
- Provide general office support
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Highly organized
- Good communication skills
- Creativity is a big plus!
Education and Training:
Training will be provided on assigned duties.
Driver’s License preferred, but not required.
Schedule:
Position to start the week of June 9. Summer Internship hours would be 15-20 hours per week up to a total of 150 hours.
Required dates: June 24 and 25, July 17
Some nights and weekends may be required. Some first and third Thursday evenings will be required.
