Golf Shop Attendant - Edinburgh USA and Brookland Golf Park

Edinburgh USA Golf Course and Brookland Golf Park are seeking Shop Attendants to operate the Golf Shops in a positive manner while ensuring guests and members alike are given prompt, courteous service at the sales counter, over the phone, and on the sales floor.

• Meet and greet customers and members in a positive and courteous manner
• Provide excellent service while processing fees, selling merchandise, while on the phone, or when making reservations for tee times
• Learn and use names of members and frequent golfing non-members
• Learn about the inventory in the shop and be able to present it to customers
• Clean and vacuum the golf shop in order to present the shop In a clean and professional manner
• Refold clothing and straighten merchandise on a continual basis

Experience

Age 16 or older

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to provide a level of customer service that meets or exceeds customer and employer expectations
• Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to relate and work effectively with people from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, racial and ethnic backgrounds
• Ability to provide a level of customer service that meets/exceeds customer expectations
• Embrace and engage in cultural shift toward Continuous Improvement
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience with touch screen point of sales systems
• Previous retail sales experience
• Previous experience working in golf course operations
• Possess CPR, First Aid, or AED certifications
• Age 18 or older for alcohol sale at Brookland Golf
• Previous experience working with people from various cultural, socioeconomic, racial and ethnic backgrounds
• Fluency in Spanish, Hmong, Russian, Somali, Laotian or Vietnamese language(s)

Anticipated Work Schedule at Edinburgh USA: Â Positions are seasonal, part-time, non-benefited positions that will work one (1) to forty (40) hours per week. Morning and evening hours are available seven days per week. Work shifts are from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Anticipated Work Schedule at Brookland Golf Park: Â Positions are seasonal, part-time, non-benefited positions that will work one (1) to forty (40) hours per week. Morning and evening hours are available seven days per week. Work shifts are from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Anticipated Salary:Â $12.21 - Â $15.91 hourly
