EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
General Operation Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and give complete and accurate information regarding Community Center events, rental information, registration practices, and more while utilizing point-of-sale equipment and computer programs.Set up and clean up program areas before and after activities. This includes sound equipment, cookware, tables, bounce house, televisions, game consoles, and more. Monitor participant attendance and respond to requests and needs of the users. Support the Community Center Manager and Assistant Manager in community outreach efforts to recruit new participants and inform the public about upcoming events. Daily surface cleaning of tables, chairs, equipment. Clean as needed the floors, bathrooms, carpets, windows, etc. Ensure all facilities are locked at the end of the day and daily cash logs are complete and accurate and secure money at the end of the shift.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesA passion for community engagement and making a positive impact on local residentsExcellent verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals of any age.Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Office, Google, Canva)Ability to coordinate multiple tasks within a professional setting.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Must be able to drive city vehicle when needed to events held remotely.
