What are the responsibilities and job description for the ANIMAL SHELTER VOLUNTEER position at City of Bullhead City?
Animal Shelter Volunteers will perform various duties and tasks of the animal shelter and office support functions under the supervision of the Animal Shelter Lead. Duties may include providing daily care to animals including cleaning, feeding, watering and restocking supplies. Socializing and exercising animals as directed. Effectively communicate observations and/or animal needs to the shelter staff Answering telephones and/or assisting the public with adoptions.
NOTE: Must be 18 years of age or older to Volunteer for the Animal Shelter Division.
This is a non-benefited, non-paid Volunteer position with the City of Bullhead City's Animal Shelter. All Volunteers are subject to complete a successful and thorough background check that includes a drug screen.
