As a Seasonal Maintenance II – Heart of the City worker, you’ll assist with park maintenance and safely operate city vehicles and equipment, while also taking on more advanced responsibilities and working independently. Ideal candidates will have experience in park maintenance or similar roles. Burnsville’s Heart of the City is a vibrant, 54-acre downtown district with Nicollet Commons Park, pedestrian-friendly spaces, and community events.

Your efforts will help keep our city running smoothly and efficiently, making essential contributions to operation and maintenance of our infrastructure.
This role is non-exempt (hourly) and has a starting range of $16.91 – $20.17/hr., depending on qualification. Both full-time and part-time hours are available. Full-time hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Learn more about the Seasonal Maintenance II – Heart of the City position here.
The Seasonal Maintenance II - Heart of the City worker values people and perspectives by:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 17 years of age or older.
- A valid Class D Driver’s License and eligibility to obtain.
- Must have park or other relevant experience.
- A background or interest in local government work serving the community.
- An interest in developing what you do best and a commitment to valuing each colleague for their unique perspectives.
