Below is a brief overview of the role, not a full job description.
- Provides technical and managerial support to the design, project management and inspection staff responsible for the City's transportation. stormwater, utilities extensions and miscellaneous capital improvements.
Prepares designs, cost estimates, scheduling, budget reports, permitting, and technical specifications. Prepares the operating and capital budgets for the division.
Manages projects, maintains close liaison and interacts daily with design consultants, surveyors, engineers, City administration, architects, contractors and inspectors.
Assists Development Services Department with the plan review and inspection of the site infrastructure of private development projects to ensure compliance with applicable City regulations.
Coordinates with other local and state agencies relating to transportation, stormwater, utilities extensions and miscellaneous capital improvements.
Responds to inquiries from the public, resolves problems and represents the City at public meetings as required.
Perform other related duties as required.
