Are you a golf enthusiast with a knack for customer service? The City of Carmel's Brookshire Golf Course has an exciting opportunity for you to become a part time Golf Course Pro Shop Attendant Essential Job Functions

  • Answer incoming calls, book and reserve tee times.
  • Lean and understand the tee sheet flow.
  • Handle cash register transactions.
  • Use Teesnap golf course management software.
  • Remain courteous with customers at all times.
  • Work as a team player with other co-workers.
  • Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop.
  • Fold and organizing items in the golf shop.
  • Dusts fixtures in golf shop.
  • Restocking golf ball displays.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to compile, coordinate, classify, tabulate and record data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively; includes ability to speak and write clearly and to interact with members of the department and customers to exchange information and resolve problems.
  • Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and to calculate decimals and percentages.
  • Ability to accurately count and handle cash.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer or tablet, utilizing basic software applications as may be necessary to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to exert light physical effort, which may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling of objects and materials weighing 5-10 pounds.
  • Ability to stand extended periods of time.
  • Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

  • Requires full attendance of scheduled hours.
  • Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screen and background check.
