Social Media Manager – Cincinnati Parks
Cincinnati Parks is seeking an innovative, creative, and well-organized communications professional to manage our digital marketing strategy including the social media program ranked as 3rd best in the US, website, and paid advertising. This includes all aspects of delivering effective digital campaigns including planning, content creation, identifying trends, monitoring, customer service, tracking, and program registration support.
Duties Include:
- Creating engaging, fun content for our award-winning park system.
- Working closely with each Park’s program and external partners to create and manage a complex content calendar.
- Directing and evaluating the work of team members.
- Researching and identifying the latest trends to create effective approaches and engaging content as assigned.
- Writing, producing, and editing promotional videos for various park events, spaces, campaigns, and services.
- Developing and implementing fun and engaging social media plans for various campaigns and events, as necessary.
- Create exciting and engaging parks-related content
- Writing various forms of communication including web articles, social media posts, e-mails, and advertisements.
- Performing complex clerical duties such as writing, proofreading, editing, writing, coordinating, and dealing with the public.
- Design and edit an employee newsletter

May require a valid Driver's License.

MILITARY EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE EVALUATION
Military education and experience may be substituted for college-level course work at the lower and upper division baccalaureate and graduate levels and apprenticeship training at the vocational certificate level on a case-by-case basis based on the American Council on Education (ACE) Military Guide recommendations.
