Responsibilities:
In this position, you will maintain an accurate cost report receivable/payable analysis, by center, by report year, on a monthly basis; coordinate and assist in the preparation and filing of all third party cost reports; ensure the timely and accurate preparation of cost report accruals on a monthly basis and prepare necessary analysis of cost report settlements or rate notices. In addition, you will follow-up on all questions and requests for information from intermediaries and other third party agencies relating to field audits and/or desk audits; train and supervise Reimbursement Specialists and Analysts and complete general ledger research and account analysis of cost reports under Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, along with a minimum of three years' experience preferably in the General Ledger analysis or financial analysis area.
Comprehensive knowledge of reimbursement regulations and the billing process are required.
Must have strong computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
Strong mathematical, financial and analytical abilities are also required.
