What are the responsibilities and job description for the TREATMENT SUPERVISOR (WW-SUPPLY) position at City of Cincinnati?
This employee provides direction and supervision necessary to ensure proper functioning of a water supply treatment facility. Employee ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; provides educational service to the public; and ensures that the public receives high quality water treatment services.Performs related duties as required.

Knowledge of:
Water treatment design, operation, processes, and maintenance.
Federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to water treatment.
Chemistry, biology, math, and physics related to treatment processes.
OSHA standards for laboratories and general industry; federal asbestos regulations.
City procurement procedures, budget requirements, etc.
Principles and practices of program development and administration.
Principles and practices of municipal budget preparation and administration.
Principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
Appropriate computer applications: word processing, spreadsheets, graphics presentations, etc.
Basic public speaking, public relations, and media relations.
Skill to:
Operate appropriate computer equipment; use properly all related hardware and software.

Each applicant must have three year experience as a Senior Plant Supervisor with the City of Cincinnati.
OR
Five years experience as a Plant Supervisor with the City of Cincinnati.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Must be an excellent communicator and team builder.
Must have a valid Class III Operator License in Water Supply from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
MILITARY EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE EVALUATION
Military education and experience may be substituted for college level course work at the lower and upper division baccalaureate and graduate levels and apprenticeship training at the vocational certificate level on a case by case basis based on the American Council on Education (ACE) Military Guide recommendations.
