What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cain Park Carpenter position at City of Cleveland Heights?
Primarily responsible for the construction and maintenance of sets for theatrical performances.
- Directly responsible to the Technical Director, who is responsible to the Theater Production Manager.
- Work all theatrical scenic load-ins and strikes.
- Help in the construction, installation, and any operational adjustments of all scenery and props for Cain Park theaters.
- Assist with the inventory, maintenance, and repair all Park power and hand tools.
- Evaluate working drawings as necessary for construction procedures.
- Attend all technical and dress rehearsals as required by the Technical Director and/or Production Manager.
- Work with the Scenic Designer towards the realization of the designs.
- Act as run crew for the production.
- Maintain high safety levels at all times.
- High school diploma or GED High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic carpentry skills required
- Previous scence shop experience preferred
Salary : $11 - $13
