SIGN-ON INCENTIVE PROGRAM: $2,000 sign-on incentive upon hire
Under general supervision, the purpose of the job is to perform complex maintenance and operational activities associated with streets, drainage systems and water and wastewater systems.

The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such duties are a logical assignment to the position.- Performs semi-skilled to skilled tasks related to construction, repair, and maintenance; cuts out streets and driveways; operate heavy equipment to excavate, backfill and compact excavated areas to facilitate repair; installs erosion control material (riprap, sandbags).
- Locates utilities on the job; digs out utilities using the appropriate equipment.
- Performs complex measurements; interprets gauge and meter readings; performs safety inspections.
- Transports materials, tools and equipment to and from job sites; setups and removes warning signs and traffic control devices.
- Assists with cleaning and upkeep of vehicles and maintains checklist; cleans work area.
- Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.
- Regular and timely attendance are required for this position.
- Must report to work for duty outside normally scheduled work hours in response to natural disasters, emergencies or critical incidents as determined by City Administration.
- Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Texas Driver's License.
- Must possess Class B CDL with required endorsements.
- Must possess at least one of the following:
- Class I Wastewater Collections license or above
- Class D Wastewater Treatment license or above
- Class D Water Operator license or above
- Perform successfully as a Field Technician I for the City of Colleyville for a minimum of 24 months.
