Horticulture/Median Landscape Laborer (PT Maintenance Support) - (Seasonal Position)
About this Job: In this position, you will perform a variety of landscape maintenance duties.
Job Type: Seasonal
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (some weekends may be required) from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association).
Approximate dates of employment will be March - September. Scheduled hours will vary based on department needs. Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually.
As a Horticulture/Median Landscape Laborer, you will:
Maintain flower and shrub beds; plant, weed, deadhead, and mulch
Water hanging baskets Pick up trash
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic landscaping and grounds maintenance
Ability to safely operate trucks, and other equipment
Minimum Qualifications
Possess, or obtain upon hire, and maintain a valid, non-probationary Colorado driver's license not subject to restriction related to alcohol and/or drug violations or pending charges.

- Landscape and gardening experience
Additional Information
Regular attendance is essential to the performance of this job.
Physical Demands: The ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds frequently is required.
Primary Work Environment –Outdoors in high traffic areas and all weather conditions
