Guest Services Specialist - (Seasonal Position)
About the Job: Pikes Peak America’s Mountain seeks a highly motivated and courteous individual to welcome and educate guests on the beautiful Pikes Peak Mountain. In this position you will be responsible for the daily operation at the gateway entrance welcoming guests, collecting admission tolls and verifying reservations.
Approximate length of employment will be up to 6 months. Anticipated time range for employment March 2025 - December 2025 with optional start dates in March, May, or July. Scheduled hours will vary based on department needs. Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually.
Job Type: This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association).
Weekly Schedule: (3-4) 8 hour shifts. Approximately 24- 32 hours per week. To include one weekend day and some holidays.
Work Location: This position is located in Cascade, CO. Employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the workplace.

As a Guest Services Specialist, you will:
- Provide information to guests about Pikes Peak America's Mountain and other area attractions by answer questions and providing excellent customer service
- Utilize our point-of-sale system to collect fees and check-in reservations.
- Perform complex cash register functions in accordance with policies and procedures; collect cash and cash equivalents; reconcile cash collection
- Support special events and activities in accordance with event plans
- Maintain the cleanliness, general maintenance, and appearance of the gateway, public restrooms, and surrounding areas
- Operate two-way radios

- Understanding of regional weather conditions and patterns
- Experience in customer service
- Experience with cash handling and cash reconciliation
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and sales operations
