The purpose of this job is to oversee inventory operations, including stock requisition and distribution, inventory control, and purchasing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. - Supports internal staff with materials and tasks.
- Creates requisitions and purchase orders, collects and processes invoices, and receives and delivers goods.
- Serves as primary point of contact for equipment orders and external vendors.
- Manages stock to verify accuracy.
- Performs accurate physical inventory audits and spot checks.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience - An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in storeroom operations, purchasing, inventory control, or related field.
Licenses or Certifications
- Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities which may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with this position
Knowledge of:
- Standard parts, materials, equipment, and supplies used in Fleet Operations.
- General office practices and administrative procedures, records management and administration techniques and procedures.
- Basic arithmetic and computational operations.
Skill in:
- Typing and/or data entry with minimal errors.
- Estimating time and materials needed to complete jobs.
- Communicating verbally and in writing to meet the needs of the audience.
- Organizing and managing time effectively.
