General Purpose
The City of Commerce City is seeking an enthusiastic Golf Shop Assistant III. The Golf Shop Assistant III is responsible for general merchandise and point of sale related tasks in the golf shop including booking tee times, greeting and checking in guests, maintaining golf shop displays and promoting & executing the golf course programs and services.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for this position is $19.84 - $22.35 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School / GED Diploma.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Previous golf shop experience.
- PGA Apprentice or equivalent experience.
- Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

Recreation Center Membership : Employees are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.00 per year.
Golf Course Green Fees : Employees can play the City's award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
Benefits : The city monitors the hours worked for seasonal and variable hour employees. In the event that they work more than 1,560 hours within the ACA measurement period, they will be offered health benefits.
Wellness : Employees are eligible to earn up to $100 for participation in various wellness activities offered by the City throughout the year.
Eligibility for Pay Increases : Employees are eligible for a pay increase around the time of their annual appraisal following a successful evaluation.
Salary : $5
