The Mental Health Professional is part of the Police Department, responsible for providing clinical insight with mental health. Job duties will include on-the scene mental health assessments, crisis work, diagnostic assessments, mental health and chemical health harm reduction planning, referral and resource work, coordination with other professionals / services, and follow-up behavioral health case management services.
Under general supervision and direction of the Chief of Police, the Mental Health Professional will accompany law enforcement on patrol, will be present after police-involved events to connect with individuals to service. A department vehicle will be provided.
- Please note that this is a grant funded position, and is budgeted to work up to 2 years at this time.
Hiring Salary Range : $44.06 - $45.56 hourly
Salary Range of Position : $44.06 - $54.90 hourly
