THE POSITION :

Under general supervision, provides advanced professional, technical, administrative, and analytical assistance in conducting a variety of comprehensive analyses and coordinating municipal policies, procedures and services in the City Manager / City Council and Finance departments. An incumbent in this advanced-journey level classification is expected to carry out advanced professional assignments requiring independent judgment in the performance of duties. Incumbents may exercise functional supervision over assigned professional, technical and support staff. • At the discretion of the Department Director, positions may be filled at the level of Management Analyst (Confidential) or Senior Management Analyst (Confidential) based upon the level of skill and experience required by the Department.
