What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer/Equipment Operator position at City of Cripple Creek?
The City of Cripple Creek Public Works Department is now accepting applications for the position of Laborer/Equipment Operator. Performs a variety of unskilled & semi-skilled manual labor in the construction & maintenance of roadways, water & sewer systems, drainage facilities, and other public facilities; drives trucks & operates equipment incidental to the work. Two years related experience in equipment operation preferred.
High school graduate or equivalent. Possession of level 1 water distribution or equivalent or ability to obtain within 1 year. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check and provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held in the previous three years.
