What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Traffic Attendant (PT) position at City of Dearborn?
VACANCIES: Regular and substitute positions available in east and west Dearborn.
MINIMUM AGE: 18 years
HOURS OF WORK:
2 hours per day, 10 hours per week, scheduled as follows:
Morning 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Afternoon 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
An employee in this position assists school children crossing busy streets and intersections. The employee maintains order and safety while on duty, being aware of any possible hazards associated with changing traffic conditions. The employee is expected to be at their post on time, and be able to perform their duties as required regardless of weather conditions.
NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:- Must submit to a criminal history check and drug screen.
Satisfactory completion of background check and a pre-employment physical and drug screen that tests for illegal drugs as defined by the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act.
