We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Evening Supervisor to help lead operations at our Liquor Store.

Position Details: As the Evening Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in managing the evening operations of the Municipal Liquor Store. You’ll assist the Liquor Store Manager with daily operations, staffing, merchandising, customer service, inventory control, and social media promotions – all while creating a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Management
Assist with planning and overseeing daily operations and procedures
Supervise evening store activities: staffing, merchandising, cleanliness, and maintenance
Resolve customer concerns and provide excellent service
Receive and stock inventory, reconcile invoices, and maintain displays
Manage social media promotions and in-store marketing
Prepare daily sales reports and manage deposits
Operate and monitor security camera systems
Supervision
Lead, train, schedule, and support evening staff
Conduct performance evaluations and address employee relations issues
Ensure staff compliance with all sales laws and internal safety policies
Promote teamwork and uphold the city’s high service standards
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Associate degree in Business Administration, Sales, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years in retail operations
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Understanding of retail pricing, inventory control, and merchandising
Strong communication and customer service skills
Familiarity with liquor, beer, and wine products
Computer proficiency and ability to utilize technology in a retail setting
Ability to promote sales and engage with the community via social media
Physical & Work Environment
Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 60 lbs)
Work performed indoors with direct customer and vendor interaction
