Salary Range: $68,538 - $77,544 (based on qualifications and experience) plus $1.00-night differential pay

- Must hold a current North Dakota POST certification or an equivalent out-of-state certification.
- Be in good standing with your current law enforcement agency.
- No ongoing investigations, whether internal, criminal, or civil.
- At least three consecutive years of law enforcement field experience.
- Must be employed full-time with arrest powers by a state, county, or municipal law enforcement agency, OR have been laid off or retired voluntarily in the past 12 months while in good standing and eligible for rehire with your previous agency.
- Full-time service with a municipal agency with 10 sworn officers.
- Full-time service with a county sheriff’s office with 15 deputies.
- Full-time service as a state police officer or trooper.
- Federal, state bureau, university police, or parole/probation officers will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
