The City of Dublin is proud to possess a passionate guest services team that is dedicated to ensuring the cleanliness of our outdoor aquatic facilities and enjoyment of all pool guests. Under the direction of the Aquatics Operations Coordinator/Pool Managers, successful candidates are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the Dublin Community Outdoor Pools; North and South.
Scheduling/Availability
- The scheduling process is flexible with a variety of shifts available
- The nature of this position may require the successful candidate to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Successful candidates must be available to work from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day
- Some availability is required during the week of May 19th to complete mandatory compliance and onboarding training. Training time is paid.

Examples of Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completion of a daily checklist to assist in preparing the pool for opening each morning and closing each evening
- Picking up litter and maintaining a high level of cleanliness in, around, and outside restrooms, pool decks, concession stands, and other areas as needed
- Changing out trash bags and ensuring all trash makes it to the dumpsters by closing each evening
- Replenishing restroom products such as hand soap and toilet paper
- Setting up and arranging the facility as needed for various activities, groups, and events
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 14 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and move objects including tables, chairs and pool equipment
- Ability to work efficiently and courteously, individually and as part of a team
- Must be able to interact with pool guests, answer questions and respond to issues as needed in a respectful and professional manner
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning
