Position Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY: The pool laborer is primarily responsible for maintaining grounds along with pool and facility cleanliness to meet safety standards. Inspects pool daily and follows proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing.
Job Duties
- Police grounds/ parking lot for litter and remove trash daily.
- Vacuum diving well, lap lanes, plunge pool and wading pool as scheduled.
- Sweep and hose down pool decks.
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms
- Empty filter baskets and inspect pool mechanics to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain diving boards by cleaning, lubricate fittings and hinges as scheduled.
- Inspect and tighten ladder bolts as scheduled.
- Groom sand areas.
- Work directly with the aquatic supervisor, maintenance supervisor and pool managers. Complete daily checklists and logs.

- Education and Training - Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
- Law and Government - Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have knowledge in operating and maintaining mechanical equipment.
- Be in good physical condition, dependable and able to work without direct supervision.
- Basic understanding of pool water quality control and pool equipment's mechanical functions
- Experience working with a diverse workforce and population
