What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Program Assistant - Eagan Art House position at City of Eagan?
This position will primarily require evening and weekend hours, up to 25 hours per week.

- Gather, prepare, and transport program supplies to multiple sites.
- Provide in person customer support at program sites.
- Print and deliver class rosters to program sites.
- Coordinate student supplies and track inventory.
- Regularly monitor program supplies and equipment at each program site.
- Communicate with team members and volunteers through email, phone and in person.
- Coordinate pottery studio monitor schedules.
- Communicate with and give work direction to volunteers.
- Set up tables, equipment, and supplies for programs as needed.
- Assist with events, including prep, set up, clean up and on-site support.
- Assist in the coordination, planning, and day-to-day implementation of educational and recreational programs.
- Provide teacher support, as needed, including in classroom assistance.
- Administer basic first aid or contact people to help.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to socially, physically and mentally perform all job duties as described.
- Paid work and/or volunteer experience with a school, arts organization, Parks & Recreation department, or customer service business.
- Friendly and great communication skills via email, phone, and in-person.
- Experience coordinating volunteers.
- Ability to work on your own and with a team.
- Desire to learn and comfortable asking questions.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with online scheduling software, such as Sign-Up Genius.
Supervision of Others: Program Assistant may provide work direction to other staff, volunteers, and participants.

Working Hours and Conditions:
Working hours may include daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Employee may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
